One platform, many territories
Setu replaces the paperwork of a whole kind of organisation. Each territory is everything that kind of organisation keeps on paper today, rebuilt as one set of records. All of them stand on the same foundation.
How Setu is built
Like the bridge it is named after: territories are the spans people cross every day, and the foundation carries all of them.
- Your own addressEach organisation runs at its own domain, with its own brand.
- People and permissionsStaff sign in as themselves, with roles that decide what each person can see and change.
- Your choice of servicesPayment, shipping, tax and messaging providers plug in per organisation.
- One set of recordsEvery change is recorded once, with who made it and when.
- An admin for daily workFast lists, saved views and keyboard shortcuts for the people using it all day.
What makes a territory
A territory is not a feature list. It starts from the documents a trade already keeps, its registers, bill books and forms, and rebuilds them as records that check themselves.
For commerce, this is what it replaced. The next territory starts from its own paperwork the same way.
Bahi-khata: the red cloth-bound account book Indian shops have kept for generations.
